Back to the treadmill. 10 miles on the treadmill isn't bad... If you have a lobotomy first. :)
The worlds slowest 10 mile run. At the peak I was at 5.0, most of it was at 4.6. At the end I was at 4.2. (all at 1% incline). I maxed out at 154, my newest max aerobic heart rate number, once or twice. I reset the treadmill at 3.5, and again at 7. I jogged over to the fountain and refilled my water bottle and started back up again.
This is going to be a tough exercise. I'll go back to work on the 5th and ask the heart rate experts about the program. I supposedly can't do any fast workouts till I see some improvements in aerobic fitness. We'll see how this affects the plan.
