Haven't run since Tuesday. It's killing me. (I'm getting no sympathy from Val, who hasn't been to the gym in 10 days between Kaitlyn and her being sick first.)
Not sure how a cold that made Kaitlyn uncomfortable can evolve in thet tiny little biological incubator into something that can lay adults low for a week.
Planning on trying to rerun this week, not sure yet how I'm going to rejigger the schedule no one but me has seen. :)

Sorry about being sick - I know how frustrating it ca be to not be able to run. You will get back there, hope you feel better soon!
Being sick sucks the big one indeed.
You asked how long it took for the low heartrate thing to kick in. From my understanding it takes between 12 and 16 weeks to really start noticing. I know my resting heart rate has dropped and I'm running slightly faster at a lower heart rate. I'll have to wait for a race to see if there has been a big improvement.
Yuck. Have to love the germs they bring home to us. Here's wishing you a fast recovery!
Colds can really zap your energy. When I was doing the Couch to 5K last year at this time, I had to run through some icky stuff too. Definitely a challenge. Feel better soon!
